In short: this website has no analytics, no cookies and no forms. We only receive personal information when you email us or work with us, and we use it only for that purpose.

This policy explains how Techrisin (“we”, “us”) handles personal information on techrisin.com and when you contact us or engage us for a project. We follow the principles of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Visiting the website

techrisin.com does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and has no forms. Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) receives standard request information such as your IP address and browser type, and keeps it in short-lived server logs for security and troubleshooting.

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google a request (including your IP address) when you visit. Google’s handling of that request is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

2. When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about. We never add you to a mailing list or share your details for marketing.

3. When you work with us

If you engage us for a project, we collect the contact and billing details needed to run the engagement. Any access you give us to your systems or data is used only to deliver the agreed work, and is handled under the confidentiality and data terms in our agreement with you. Where that agreement says something different from this policy, the agreement applies.

4. Service providers and where data is stored

We use a small number of providers to run our business, and each receives only what it needs to provide its service:

Some of these providers store and process data outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there may be accessible to authorities in that country under its laws.

5. How long we keep information

We keep emails and project records for as long as we need them to respond to you, deliver our work, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that, we delete them.

6. How we protect information

The website is served only over HTTPS. We limit access to personal information to the people who need it to do their work, and we use accounts protected by strong authentication for the services that hold it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it, subject to any legal requirements. Email info@techrisin.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
